The popular Street Kids Direct Family Quiz Night returns this year with the theme of HISTORY.
The Quiz Night is for anyone of any age and teams consist of 8 people who will battle it out through the night to become the evening´s winning team. The friendly and (mostly) child-easy questions means you won´t feel left out if history is not your area of strength! Our quiz nights are not serious quizzes and so please come to enjoy a good night out with friends and ready to meet new friends.
The evening is sponsored by Street Kids Direct and the three trustees of the charity, Matt Levett, Joanna Soden and Duncan Dyason will be hosting the evening and bringing you news from the projects the charity supports in Central America.
TEAMS: If you would like to book a table for 8 people then you will be able to choose those who sit with you. I am sure we can be flexible if you wanted to bring one or two extras to your team or can make a larger team with two tables if needed. If you come on your own or with a friend we will be happy to place you with a team that will be kind to you and make you feel welcome.
FOOD: Joanna Soden and her dedicated team of cooks will prepare a delicious and healthy home-cooked meal for us. If you have any dietary requirements (and being Jedi does not count as one of them), please do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your needs in the menu.
RAFFLE: We will be looking for some great raffle prizes for you but if you have anything you would like to bring along and donate to the raffle table that would be great. It is a charity event after all!
BAR: A licensed bar will be available on the evening and any profits will go towards our final total of funds raised.
COSTUMES: We all love dressing up and so let´s go all out this year and think of a costume that illustrates a character from history. Your team will gain extra points if they are dressed as characters from history. If you would rather wear your ordinary clothes then we won´t be offended. The main thing is you come and enjoy the evening and feel comfortable throughout the evening.
DONATIONS: Being a charity event we will be accepting donations on the evening as the ticket price will cover the rent of the hall, materials and food. PLEASE be as generous as you can and help us help more vulnerable children in Central America.
We look forward to seeing you on the evening and any help in setting up or clearing away would be appreciated.
Call Lizzie on 07521 593503 and she will take really good care of you.
Could you print out and put up a poster for us?
