EDUCATE 24 CHILDREN FOR A YEAR £1,400
We are trying to raise £1,400 for Centro Integral Children’s Home in Honduras.  The money will be used to cover the costs of educating 24 children for the year.  In Honduras education is free, the government providing the classroom and teacher, but many children are excluded because of the costs of uniforms, books, materials and other similar costs.

This amount has now been raised by the young people of St. Peter’s Church, Maidenhead by their BIG SLEEP and 24 Famine in March.  THANK YOU GUYS!



WATER WELL PROJECT  £18,000
There is a desperate need to supply the home with their own water because water has to be brought to the home by tanker each week and the cost of water is increasing greatly.  We have carried out a survey and have identified the location of the future well.

The well should provide sufficient water for the home and also provide enough for the home to sell to neighbours, thereby giving a regular income to the home as well as removing the expenditure of water from their monthly budget.


HOME SUPPORT £8,000
The home continues to receive very little regular funding and so have asked us to help provide four quarterly payments of £2000.  The money will be used to feed and care for the children during 2008/9, providing for the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual needs.
